Still time to register … ECC Spring Term begins Jan. 11
Tuesday / December 15, 2015
There’s still time to register for Spring Term classes, which begin Jan. 11 at Ellsworth Community College. The ECC Admissions Office staff is on duty through Tuesday, Dec. 22; they’ll be closed Dec. 23 through Jan. 3, but will be back from the holiday break and ready to process additional registrations beginning at 8 am on Monday, Jan. 4.
“The best time to register for Spring Term classes is before our holiday break, so we really encourage prospective students to see us this week, or early next week before we close down for Christmas,” says Adriane Sietsema, ECC’s Director of Admissions. “We can process additional registrations the week of Jan. 4 through Jan. 8, but it’s a challenge … particularly for new students who haven’t completed all of the admissions paperwork.”
“We encourage anyone who’s thinking about getting a college degree to contact us now,” says Sietsema. “Many times people have concerns or barriers that we can easily help them overcome, and it’s not nearly as difficult as they imagined. In today’s economy, with a fairly low unemployment rate, having that college degree can be a great advantage when it comes to qualifying for the best jobs.”
The ECC Admissions Office is located on the second floor of the Gentle Student Center on the ECC campus, 1100 College Ave., Iowa Falls; the office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
